Heikal meets Al-Dosari and Lebanese figures... Support for the army’s role in safeguarding stability

Army Commander General Rodolphe Heikal received in his office in Yarzeh the new Saudi ambassador to Lebanon, Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Dosari, on a courtesy visit following the assumption of his diplomatic duties, in the presence of Military Attaché Colonel Saleh bin Mohammed Al-Hammad.

During the meeting, the latest developments on the Lebanese and regional scenes were discussed, in addition to ways to strengthen the fraternal relations between Lebanon and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and to develop aspects of cooperation and coordination between the Lebanese and Saudi armies.

General Heikal also met with former minister Ghazi Aridi and former MP Ismail Sukariya, with whom he discussed the current situation and the challenges facing Lebanon.

During the meeting, Aridi and Sukariya praised the role being played by the military institution, commending the army’s sacrifices and its ongoing efforts to preserve security and stability and protect Lebanon.
