Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Threatens Wider Confrontation: Any New Strike Will Open the Doors to a “Major War”

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has escalated its threats in response to recent U.S. statements, warning that any new attack on Iran could trigger a confrontation extending beyond the region’s borders.

In an official statement, the Revolutionary Guard said that what it described as the “promised regional war” would not remain confined to a limited geographic نطاق if the “aggression” is repeated, arguing that ongoing U.S. and Israeli threats have failed to break Iran or weaken its capabilities.

The statement noted that the “American-Zionist enemy” had used its full range of military capabilities during previous confrontations, but had failed — in its words — to achieve its objectives against the “Islamic Revolution.”

The Revolutionary Guard stressed that Iran has not yet used its full capabilities, warning that any new attack would be met with “crushing strikes” in places “the enemies cannot imagine,” according to the statement.

It added: “We are men of war, and our strength will be shown on the battlefield, not through statements or electronic campaigns,” in a message that reflected a clear escalation in Iranian rhetoric toward Washington and its allies.
