Karami receives Al-Hazzaa… The Syrian students’ file moves into a new phase of follow-up

Minister of Education and Higher Education Rima Karami discussed with the chargé d’affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Lebanon, Iyad Al-Hazzaa, the issue of Syrian students in Lebanon, as part of ongoing follow-up on matters related to their educational and administrative affairs.

During the meeting, they reviewed ways to address a number of obstacles facing the students, particularly those related to issuing academic certificates and facilitating student residency procedures, in a way that helps ensure the continuity of their educational journey.

Al-Hazzaa affirmed the Syrian Embassy’s commitment to following up on the conditions of members of the Syrian community in Lebanon and working to resolve the files related to them, stressing the importance of coordination with the relevant Lebanese authorities to ensure the facilitation of procedures related to students.
