
The Disaster Risk Management Unit at the Grand Serail has released its daily report on the current situation, dated April 5, 2026, highlighting humanitarian and field indicators amid ongoing escalation.
According to the report, the number of open shelter centers has risen to 677, hosting a total of 137,774 displaced individuals across 36,608 families, placing increasing pressure on accommodation capacities and services.
On the field level, the total recorded hostile incidents reached 5,633, reflecting the continued intensity of tensions.
Regarding human losses, 39 fatalities and 136 injuries were recorded over the past 24 hours, bringing the cumulative toll since the beginning of the escalation to 1,461 deaths and 4,430 injuries.
