U.S. President Donald Trump delivered sharp messages to allies, linking American support to their stance on confronting Iran, while also addressing the impact of tensions in the Strait of Hormuz on global fuel supplies.
Trump said: “The United States will not assist allies who refused to take part in weakening Iran.”
He added: “Countries that cannot obtain jet fuel due to the Strait of Hormuz, such as Britain, should buy it from us.”
He continued: “Countries that cannot obtain fuel should show courage and go to the Strait of Hormuz and take control of it.”
He concluded: “Iran has been largely destroyed, and the hardest part is over.”
