Hezbollah: “Denies involvement in the Ghandouriyeh incident and calls for awaiting the Lebanese Army’s investigation”

Hezbollah issued the following statement:

“Hezbollah denies any involvement in the incident that occurred with UNIFIL forces in the Ghandouriyeh–Bint Jbeil area, and calls for caution in assigning judgments and responsibility regarding the incident pending the Lebanese Army’s investigation to fully determine the circumstances of what happened.

Hezbollah also stresses the continuation of cooperation among residents, UNIFIL, and the Lebanese Army, emphasizing the need for coordination between the Lebanese Army and UNIFIL in its movements, especially under these delicate circumstances.

In this context, Hezbollah expresses surprise at the positions that rushed to level accusations arbitrarily, at a time when these parties are absent and no voice is heard from them when the Israeli enemy attacks UNIFIL forces.”
