The Iranian president said during an inspection visit to the Ministry of Sports and Youth that his country does not pursue escalatory policies and is not seeking to ignite wars, stressing that any action it takes falls within the framework of legitimate self-defense.
Pezeshkian said: “Trump has no right to deprive a people of its rights and to say that Iran cannot benefit from its nuclear rights.”
In the same context, he stressed the importance of preserving internal cohesion, calling on Iranians to strengthen unity and regional cooperation in confronting challenges, and to work to thwart any attempts aimed at destabilizing the region.
