Sexual assaults in nurseries and schools

The British newspaper The Telegraph has revealed widespread allegations related to alleged sexual assaults inside nurseries and primary schools in Paris, where 16 people have been detained in the French capital.

The French newspaper Le Monde, citing the public prosecutor’s office, reported that those individuals were detained over accusations linked to a single state-run nursery in the city center.

Investigative authorities also confirmed to the newspaper that the individuals involved are accused of rape and sexual assaults against minors, in addition to acts of violence committed against them.

It is worth noting that some of those detained had already been suspended from work earlier.
