Raggi: “Lebanon seeks, through direct negotiations with Israel, to reach a ceasefire”

Foreign Minister Youssef Raggi affirmed that “the Lebanese state alone holds the authority to negotiate on behalf of Lebanon, a clear message that reasserts the principle of national sovereignty at the heart of Lebanese diplomacy.”

He pointed out that “Lebanon is seeking, through direct negotiations with Israel, to reach a ceasefire. Establishing this path has effectively entrenched the separation between the Lebanese file and the Iranian track.”
