Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri held a phone call with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Salman Athar, during which he commended Islamabad’s role in supporting regional de-escalation efforts and contributing to a ceasefire. Berri also pointed to continued Israeli violations and non-compliance with the terms of the agreement, highlighting the persistence of attacks on Lebanese territory, particularly in the south, and stressing the importance of conveying these developments to the relevant parties.
