In a new position related to negotiations with the United States, Iran's Foreign Ministry affirmed that the American proposals do not rise to the level of the seriousness required, stressing Tehran's adherence to its negotiating principles and its refusal to make concessions outside that framework.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry said:
"America's proposals are not serious and its demands are unrealistic. We have made our demands clear and will not change them."
"The transfer of Iran's enriched uranium was never مطرح as an option on our side in any round of the talks."
"We are not optimistic about Washington's approach and assess matters realistically because of past experiences."
"Our actions in the Strait of Hormuz are in line with international law because we were subjected to aggression by Washington and Tel Aviv."
"Pakistan is currently the sole mediator in the diplomatic process between Iran and the United States."
"Our defense capabilities are absolutely not up for negotiation from our side, and we do not negotiate over them."
