Arnaud Hosted by Salam: Consolidating International Support for Lebanon Amid Major Transformations

Former Prime Minister Tammam Salam received today at his residence in Msaytbeh the personal envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General to Lebanon, Jean Arnaud. Their meeting addressed the latest developments on the Lebanese scene and regional developments, amid the delicate phase the region is going through.

During the meeting, political and security conditions were discussed, in addition to the role of the international community in accompanying Lebanon. Arnaud affirmed the continued support of the United Nations for the steps Lebanon is taking to preserve its sovereignty and independence and to strengthen its stability.
