The following statement was issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants condemns in the strongest possible terms the unacceptable Iranian attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates with missiles and drones, in a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of a sisterly state, international law, and the Charter of the United Nations, and for the serious threat these acts pose to the security and stability of the region.
The ministry expresses Lebanon’s full and steadfast solidarity with the leadership, government, and people of the United Arab Emirates, affirming its support in the face of these attacks and backing its legitimate right to defend its territory, protect its security and stability, and safeguard the safety of its citizens and residents on its soil.
The ministry also renews its emphasis on the need to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all Arab states, reject any interference in their internal affairs, and calls for an immediate halt to these attacks in a manner that preserves security and stability in the region.
