
Parliament continued its legislative sessions, approving a series of draft laws covering health, social and humanitarian sectors as part of completing its agenda.
The chamber approved a draft law aimed at amending a number of articles of Law No. 305, issued on March 4, 2001, concerning the establishment of a mandatory syndicate for physiotherapists in Lebanon, in addition to approving an amendment to the first clause of the sixth paragraph of the Social Security Law issued on September 26, 1963.
Parliament also ratified the draft law aimed at regulating the Lebanese Red Cross, and likewise approved the draft law concerning the use and protection of the Lebanese Red Cross emblem, thereby strengthening the legal framework governing the institution’s work and protecting its humanitarian symbol.
