Zakharova reopens the file of biological laboratories in Ukraine: Americans will discover the truth for themselves

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that more than 40 American biological laboratories are still operating on Ukrainian territory, arguing that Moscow had repeatedly warned the international community about what she described as “the danger of unmonitored US military biological activity outside the United States.”

Zakharova added that Russia, during its military operation in Ukraine, uncovered information it says relates to military biological programs carried out by the Pentagon inside Ukrainian territory, in violation of the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention, noting that these accusations had previously been met with denial, rejection, and dismissal as “disinformation.”

She concluded by saying that what is happening now reflects, in her words, the beginning of a shift in the American position, as Washington moves to examine these files that it had previously denied, considering that this could serve as an entry point toward a comprehensive handling of an issue that has remained controversial for years.
