Crucial hours in Rome… U.S. efforts to push negotiations toward a practical agreement

Al Jadeed’s correspondent in Rome reported that the ongoing meetings between Lebanon and Israel are heading toward their conclusion today, amid expectations of a consensus to establish technical committees tasked with following up on the implementation of the framework agreement’s provisions under U.S. supervision.

The correspondent added that the U.S. administration is continuing its efforts to bridge the gap between the two sides, with the aim of ensuring the success of this round of negotiations and achieving progress in the course of the talks, paving the way for a move to implementation steps related to the agreement.
