Information Minister Paul Morcos outlined the conclusions of the daily ministerial meeting held at the Grand Serail under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, with the participation of several ministers. The meeting discussed political, field, and humanitarian developments.
Morcos stated that “Salam reviewed the negotiation process, stressing” the importance of a ceasefire and ensuring the continuity and safety of operations at the airport, ports, and border crossings, particularly Masnaa, while also addressing relief and shelter efforts undertaken by the relevant ministries.
He added that “Defense Minister Michel Menassa presented the field situation and Israeli attacks, particularly the destruction of bridges and the bulldozing of frontline villages, as well as the situation along the Lebanese-Syrian border, and the intensification of patrols in Beirut, especially on the airport road, noting that the number of martyrs has reached 2,124 and the injured 6,921.”
