The Public Administration Employees Association said in a statement that “the public administration employee will no longer be the weakest link, that the voice of الحق cannot be silenced, and that rights are not granted but won through struggle, unity, and steadfastness,” thanking “all female and male colleagues who answered the call of dignity and justice, and who participated today in large numbers and with honorable presence in the protest in front of the Ministry of Social Affairs.”
It added: “Today you proved that the will of employees is stronger than all attempts at marginalization and neglect, and that the association has been and will remain your free voice and the foremost defender of your rights, dignity, and future.”
It thanked “Minister of Social Affairs Haneen El Sayed for her participation and for standing by the employees in the میدان of struggle, and for her clear support for their rightful and just demands.”
It also saluted “the security forces for their civilized accompaniment and for preserving the smooth conduct of the protest, and all media outlets that conveyed the employees’ voice, pain, and suffering with full honesty and responsibility.”
It called on all “female and male colleagues to join the Public Administration Employees Association,” saying: “With you, the association grows; through your unity, it becomes stronger; and no battle for demands can succeed except through employees’ solidarity and their rallying around their common cause.”
It concluded: “Stronger together, together we achieve our rights, and together we continue until justice and dignity are achieved for every public administration employee.”
