Kuwait reveals details of attacks on border sites and an oil facility in territorial waters

Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense announced that three land border posts in the north of the country had come under attack, causing material damage, while one of Kuwait Oil Company’s offshore drilling platforms inside territorial waters was targeted by a drone.

The ministry’s official spokesman, Colonel Staff Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi, said the attack on the offshore platform injured one worker, who was transferred for treatment, while the damage at the targeted sites was limited to material losses.

The ministry confirmed that the competent authorities immediately began field and security procedures in coordination with the relevant bodies to determine the circumstances of the attacks and take the necessary measures.
