Baabda intensifies its contacts with the Americans..

Nidaa Al-Watan has learned that Baabda has stepped up its contacts with the Americans and domestically in order to secure a ceasefire before the negotiating session. On the Washington track, contacts took place with Lebanese Ambassador Nada Mouawad and the US ambassador to Lebanon, Michel Issa, who is currently in Washington, in addition to direct communication channels with the United States maintained by President Joseph Aoun, with the aim of persuading Israel to halt the fire.
