President Michel Aoun received a phone call from the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, who expressed the League’s solidarity with Lebanon during the difficult circumstances it is facing due to ongoing Israeli attacks.
Secretary-General Aboul Gheit noted that he continues to coordinate with Arab League member states to reach a unified position regarding what Lebanon and several other Arab countries are experiencing, emphasizing full solidarity with the Lebanese people to help end their suffering.
President Aoun thanked the Secretary-General of the Arab League for his consistent and supportive stance toward Lebanon and its people.
