Saudi-Sudanese talks to support Sudan’s stability and pave the way for comprehensive peace negotiations

The city of Jeddah hosted an official meeting between Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereignty Council Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, as part of ongoing efforts to monitor developments in the Sudanese crisis.

The meeting addressed the latest developments in Sudan, with both sides discussing ways to support stability and strengthen the political track, while stressing the "importance of preserving Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity."

These talks come as part of Saudi moves aimed at advancing political solutions and creating a suitable climate for entering comprehensive peace negotiations, in a way that helps end the conflict and achieve stability in the country.
