Trump: I hope we will not have to deal militarily with what remains of the Iranian regime

U.S. President Donald Trump made a series of statements addressing the Iran file and related developments, speaking about his assessment of the current situation and the options on the table.

In his remarks, he said:

Iran has about three days before its oil infrastructure explodes.

What we are doing regarding Iran is a service to the world.

We will take the Iranian nuclear dust, and that is part of our negotiations.

I hope we will not have to deal militarily with what remains of the Iranian regime.

I am very disappointed with NATO because they did not help us regarding Iran.

If we were forced to continue military operations in Iran, we would wipe them out completely and very quickly.

The blockade we are imposing on Iran has proven remarkably effective, and they are unable to obtain any additional funds.
