A judicial ruling was issued yesterday, Wednesday, acquitting artist Fadel Shaker in one of the cases being heard before the Criminal Court in Beirut.
In the wake of the ruling, Shaker’s lawyer, Amata Mubarak, confirmed that he is closely following the messages of support reaching him from his fans, noting that he sent a message of love and gratitude to everyone who stood by him throughout the past period.
Mubarak added that Shaker feels deep appreciation toward his audience, and that this support gives him strong motivation to continue and overcome the current stage, expressing hope that the coming period will bring further breakthroughs on the judicial level.
Judge Bilal Dnawi, judge of the Criminal Court in Beirut, had issued a ruling acquitting Shaker of the charge of attempting to kill Sheikh Hilal Hammoud, after a series of court sessions that included hearing witnesses from both sides of the case and reviewing the evidence and facts related to it.
Shaker is scheduled to appear before the Military Court in Beirut in the coming period.
