
Sources close to Al Hadath have revealed the results of preliminary investigations into the attack on an apartment in the Ain Saadeh area of eastern Beirut, confirming that the targeted building had no registered rental contracts for any of its apartments.
The sources indicated that an Israeli warship carried out the attack, targeting a specific apartment in the building, and noted that the alleged target was a leader from the Al Ibrahim family who frequented the apartment.
The sources added that the targeted apartment belongs to the building’s owner, who is also from the Al Ibrahim family, and mentioned that Lebanese Forces official Pierre Mouawad had previously warned the building owner about a person frequenting the apartment.
They stated that information regarding the fate of the alleged target in the Ain Saadeh apartment remains unconfirmed, whether he was killed or managed to escape.
