Iran submitted, through the Pakistani mediator, a new 14-point proposal to end the war and build trust with Washington

Iranian media outlets, including Tasnim and Fars, reported that Tehran had delivered, through the Pakistani mediator, a new proposal comprising 14 points as part of diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the ongoing war.

According to sources close to the Iranian negotiating team, the proposal constitutes a response to an earlier U.S. offer and focuses on mechanisms to halt the war and build confidence between the two sides, along with a set of measures related to the negotiating track.

The sources indicated that the Iranian document includes broad headings related to ending the escalation, security and political arrangements, as well as issues linked to regional negotiations, while Tehran awaits the U.S. response to the proposal through the established channels.
