Arslan: General Heikal embodies the image of a free national leader

Lebanese Democratic Party leader Talal Arslan wrote on his X account: "The Army Commander General Rodolphe Heikal’s order of the day, on the occasion of Resistance and Liberation Day, amounts to a lesson in patriotism, ethics, and courage. Despite all the external and internal pressures and the shifts in the landscape, and with all that we hear and know regarding his positions in this exceptional circumstance, he remains steadfast, placing the interests of the military institution and the nation above personal interests, and embodying the image of a free national leader... Our rallying around the army is a moral duty."
