Makki after his meeting with Aoun: Lebanon remains committed to its constants of liberating the land, extending state authority, securing the return of prisoners and displaced people, and reconstruction

Minister of Administrative Development Fadi Makki after his meeting with President Aoun:

- We stressed the importance of internal cohesion and strengthening national unity at this delicate stage.

- We affirmed the fundamental constants to which Lebanon adheres in any negotiations, foremost among them the full liberation of all Lebanese territory, the extension of state authority over it, the return of prisoners and displaced people to their families, in addition to reconstruction.

- We stressed the need to remain united, to stay away from any rhetoric that accuses others of treason or sows division, and to stand by the state and the Lebanese Army in a way that protects the country’s stability and strengthens its resilience.
