French Navy Chief: “We Are Working with Our Partners to Determine the Conditions to Permanently Reopen the Strait of Hormuz”

French Navy Chief Nicolas Vaujour told Reuters that “there is no evidence at this stage of mines in the Strait of Hormuz.”

He added, “Eventually, there will be a need for military intervention to monitor the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.”

He continued, “We are working with our partners to determine the conditions to permanently reopen the Strait of Hormuz.”
