The Sudanese government has accused the United Arab Emirates and Ethiopia of being behind the bombing of Khartoum International Airport, asserting that it possesses what it described as “conclusive evidence and proof” supporting these accusations.
The government said the results of investigations conducted by the relevant authorities indicate that the attack was carried out using drones, stressing that Khartoum Airport is a civilian facility protected under international law.
In a related development, Sudan’s foreign minister announced the recall of the Sudanese ambassador to Ethiopia for consultations, explaining that Khartoum will work to strengthen its case with additional evidence and submit it to the UN Security Council as part of following up on the developments.
