Berri Praises Jumblatt’s National Stance, Jumblatt Responds: “You Remain Great, Mr. Speaker”

According to press reports, Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri called Yamina Bashir Jumblatt to commend her “unifying and sincere national positions.”

Jumblatt responded, affirming that she expresses her convictions “with complete sincerity,” adding, “You remain great, Mr. Speaker.”

Previously, Jumblatt had written: “Any violation of the 10,452 km²… and any infringement on the people or the land, whether from the Israeli side, the Syrian side—God forbid—or from any other party… we will inevitably confront it.”
