Chinese President to Putin: Middle East war is shaking the global economy

Chinese President Xi Jinping said during talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin that the continued military escalation in the Middle East is no longer acceptable given its growing repercussions for international stability, stressing that a political solution and dialogue remain the most important path for addressing the crisis.

Xi noted that ending the war would help ease disruptions affecting global trade flows and energy markets, calling for an immediate halt to the fighting and for diplomatic efforts to take precedence in order to prevent tensions in the region from spreading further.
