With deep sorrow and grief, we mourn a group of Iraq’s sons who have fallen as martyrs while carrying out their duty to defend their homeland and its sovereignty.
This crime represents a blatant violation of Iraq’s sovereignty and an unacceptable assault on the blood of its sons who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the nation, its security, and its stability.
As we extend our heartfelt condolences to the noble Iraqi people, to the families of the righteous martyrs, and to their comrades in the security forces, we affirm that the blood of the martyrs will remain a trust upon the shoulders of all Iraqis, and that Iraq’s sovereignty and dignity must stand above all considerations.
Mercy and eternal glory to our heroic martyrs, a swift recovery to the wounded, and patience and solace to their honorable families.
Glory to the martyrs… and Iraq will remain proud and steadfast through the sacrifices of its sons.
