Aoun awards the Saudi ambassador the National Order of the Cedar... Praise for his role in strengthening Lebanese-Saudi relations

President Joseph Aoun received Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid Bukhari on a farewell visit and awarded him the National Order of the Cedar, Grand Officer rank, commending the role he played during his tenure in Lebanon, which contributed to strengthening and developing the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries across various fields, and wishing him success in his new duties.

For his part, Ambassador Bukhari thanked the President of the Republic for awarding him the decoration and for the support he received during his time in Lebanon, expressing his hope that Lebanon would regain its brilliance and active role among the countries of the region, and that its people would enjoy security, stability, and prosperity, and that it would remain a destination and a haven for all those who love it and for its brothers.
