Israeli Army Radio reported that the 146th Reserve Division has completed its mission in southern Lebanon after nearly three months of military operations that included defensive and offensive tasks in the border sector.
According to the radio station, responsibility for the western sector of southern Lebanon has been transferred to the 91st Division, as part of a reorganization of Israeli force deployments on the northern front.
The information indicated that the number of military divisions operating in southern Lebanon has been reduced to just the 91st and 36th divisions, in a move reflecting an adjustment in the structure of the Israeli forces’ field deployment in the area.
