Stable spring weather… and rising temperatures

Relatively stable spring weather is prevailing over Lebanon, with temperatures rising inland and over the mountains, and the possibility of some local fluctuations, especially in northern areas, continuing throughout the week due to the flow of relatively cold air masses into the eastern Mediterranean basin.

Note: Average temperatures for the month of May are between 18 and 27 degrees in Beirut, between 15 and 25 in Tripoli, and between 13 and 27 in Zahle.

Expected weather in Lebanon:

Tuesday:

Partly cloudy with fog over the highlands and a further rise in temperatures over the mountains and inland, with little change along the coast and high humidity levels.

Wednesday:

Partly cloudy to cloudy with fog over the highlands and a further rise in temperatures, especially inland and over the mountains, where they will exceed seasonal averages. Light scattered rain is expected at times, especially over the northern highlands, starting in the afternoon.

Thursday:

Partly cloudy with fog over the highlands and a slight rise in temperatures along the coast, while temperatures drop over the mountains and inland. Clouds will thicken at times, and conditions will be favorable for local rainfall, especially in the north of the country, as winds become active.
