The Disaster Risk Management Unit at the Grand Serail issued its daily report on the current situation on March 16, 2026, detailing the latest developments regarding shelters, displaced persons, and human losses.
The report indicated that 622 shelters have been opened to date, while the total number of self-registered displaced persons reached 1,049,328 individuals. The total number of displaced persons currently residing in shelters is 132,742, distributed across 33,622 displaced families.
Regarding hostile incidents, 2,235 events were recorded. The daily tally of casualties reported 36 deaths and 36 injuries, while cumulative statistics show 886 deaths and 2,141 injuries since the beginning of the crisis.
