
The Minister of Social Affairs, Hanban Al-Sayyed, announced that an additional 15,000 families will begin receiving cash assistance starting tomorrow, noting that the number of beneficiaries will gradually increase depending on the availability of funding.
Regarding families still living on the streets, particularly in Beirut, the Minister confirmed that the Disaster and Risk Management Office in Beirut Governorate, in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Works, has arranged daily buses to transport families to Tripoli and Akkar, where they will be received at safe and suitable centers providing essential services.
