Pakistani Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar affirmed that Islamabad is continuing its diplomatic efforts between Iran and the United States with the aim of reaching a comprehensive peace agreement that would ease tensions in the region.
Dar explained that “his country’s goal as a mediator is to persuade both the Iranian and American sides to reach a peace agreement in which everyone is a winner, which is what the region and the world need.”
He pointed out that “we are certain that significant progress is being made in the negotiations, and we have made efforts to reach a ceasefire and begin dialogue,” noting that “consultations are still ongoing to end the conflict, and we hope that we will succeed.”
