Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naeem Qassem confirmed that the resistance’s choice in confronting the aggression, after fifteen months of allowing diplomacy to take its course with patience and endurance, has revealed many important facts, emphasizing the continuity of jihad and the meticulous preparation for the battle.
Qassem stated:
"The courage of the resistance and its people in their patience and precise adherence to covenants and pledges."
"The courage of the resistance in repelling the aggression at the appropriate time."
"The level of meticulous preparation for the battle, with the ambiguity of capabilities and their limits and deployment, without the need to remain fixed geographically, and the flexibility to move fighters from any location in Lebanon to the frontline to engage the enemy."
"The surprise of the enemy by nullifying their surprises, and our knowledge of their aggressive plan and preparation to confront it."
"The available solution is to stop the aggression, withdraw from the occupied territories, release the prisoners, and return the people of villages and towns to their homes with the start of reconstruction, and we are capable of achieving that."
