Qatari Foreign Ministry: “We are closely following the ceasefire negotiations in Islamabad between Washington and Tehran”

Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed Al-Ansari affirmed the continuation of intensive diplomatic contacts with various regional and international parties, as part of efforts aimed at containing tensions and advancing the ongoing negotiation tracks.

Al-Ansari stated that:

- Contacts are ongoing with the Pakistani side to reach a peaceful solution through the Islamabad negotiations.

- We are in contact with all parties, including the United States, regarding the Islamabad negotiations.

- We are communicating with international parties and partners to protect navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and supply chains.

- The State of Qatar supports de-escalation in Lebanon at all levels.

- We are closely following the ceasefire negotiations in Islamabad between Washington and Tehran.

- The State of Qatar supports Pakistan’s efforts regarding the ceasefire and remains in constant contact with it.
