The Higher Relief Committee announced the arrival of a Belgian aid plane at Rafic Hariri International Airport, carrying approximately 15 tons of humanitarian supplies, including medicines, medical equipment, and essential health materials.
The aircraft was received by Minister of Public Health Rakan Nassereddine, Belgian Ambassador Arnout Pauwels, along with a team from the Higher Relief Committee, and representatives from the World Health Organization and the United Nations Population Fund.
This assistance comes amid growing pressure on the healthcare sector, aiming to enhance medical readiness and support the ongoing humanitarian response by providing essential care to those affected.
