
Prime Minister Dr. Najib Salam met with the ambassadors of Finland, Anne Meskanen, Belgium, Arnout Pauwels, the Netherlands, Frank Mollen, and Canada, Gregory Galligan.
During the meeting, the ambassadors reaffirmed their countries’ support for the Lebanese government, praising its official response to the refugee issue and expressing concern over Israeli incursions in southern Lebanon.
The discussions also addressed the post-mission phase of UNIFIL, negotiations with Israel, and the progress of financial reforms.
Prime Minister Salam thanked the ambassadors for their countries’ support and attention to Lebanon, emphasizing that the Lebanese government will continue working with international partners to stop the war and affirming Lebanon’s readiness to enter direct negotiations.
