Phone Call Between Aoun and al-Sharaa: Emphasis on Preventing Any Security Breach Along the Border

Joseph Aoun, President of the Republic, received a phone call this afternoon from Syrian President Ahmed al‑Sharaa, during which they discussed the current developments in the region.

Both presidents stressed that the current sensitive circumstances require activating coordination and consultation between the two countries, particularly with regard to the need to control the borders and prevent any security breaches from any side.
