Finance Minister Yassine Jaber issued two decisions extending filing deadlines. The first decision states:
"The deadline for submitting the declaration for the first quarter of 2026 on amounts subject to the tax under Articles 41 and 42 of the Income Tax Law, applicable to income taxpayers, public institutions, municipalities, municipal unions, and all public bodies, councils and funds (G10/T and G10/M), as well as for paying the tax due thereon, is extended through 29/05/2026 inclusive."
The second decision states:
"The deadline for submitting the personal declaration for salaries and wages tax for employees and wage earners who work for more than one employer, or who simultaneously receive a pension or lifetime allowances, and for taxpayers subject to Book One tax who at the same time receive salaries and wages, a pension, or lifetime allowances (Form R8), and for paying the tax due thereon for the 2025 tax year, is extended through 30/06/2026 inclusive."
In a statement, the ministry said that "these two decisions are intended to give taxpayers the opportunity to comply with their obligations and avoid the imposition of penalties."
