Damascus receives Washington’s envoy: Political and economic talks on al-Sharaa and Barrack’s agenda

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa received today at the People’s Palace in Damascus the US special envoy to Syria, Thomas Barrack, in the presence of Foreign and Expatriates Minister Asaad al-Shaibani.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in Syria and the region, ways to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as issues of mutual interest.
