TF1 reported that the French Ministry of Education has decided to cancel all brevet and baccalaureate examinations in French educational institutions located in the Middle East, including Lebanon, as well as in Mali.
This decision comes as a result of the sensitive security conditions in these regions, amid the overlap of armed conflicts and the rising level of risks facing students and educational institutions.
According to the broadcaster, the French authorities have not ruled out the possibility of expanding the scope of this measure to include other regions within a period that could extend to 15 days before the scheduled start of the exams, depending on developments in the geopolitical situation.
