U.S. President Donald Trump stated that several countries, especially those affected by Iran’s attempts to close the Strait of Hormuz, will deploy warships in coordination with the United States to keep it secure.
He added that “we have destroyed 100% of Iran’s capabilities, but it is still easy for them to deploy drones, plant mines, or launch short-range missiles.”
Trump expressed hope that China, France, Japan, South Korea, and United Kingdom will send ships to ensure that the Strait of Hormuz does not pose a threat.
He also emphasized that the U.S. will continue intensive strikes on Iranian coasts and target Iranian boats and vessels regularly, promising that the Strait of Hormuz will soon be secure.
