Aoun reviews the situation with Hajjar and Bou Faour, discusses consolidating the ceasefire with the US ambassador

President Joseph Aoun met with Telecommunications Minister Charles Hajjar and reviewed with him the efforts being made by ministry teams to repair the damage caused by the war in various Lebanese regions.

Aoun also discussed with Democratic Gathering MP Wael Bou Faour the latest political and security developments and the post-ceasefire phase.

Aoun received US Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Issa and reviewed with him the general situation in light of recent developments, as well as his contacts with US President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

The talks also addressed the phase following the meeting held at the US State Department last week and the means of preserving the ceasefire.
