
President Ahmed al-Sharaa met today with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani and General Intelligence Service chief Hussein al-Salama, on the sidelines of the fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
Al-Sharaa also met with Yemeni Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Shaea Mohsen al-Zindani, in the presence of Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani and General Intelligence Service chief Hussein al-Salama, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
He likewise met with Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani and General Intelligence Service chief Hussein al-Salama, on the sidelines of the fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
The two sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and joint coordination, in addition to reviewing developments in the region.
Al-Sharaa also met with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Barham Salih, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
The two sides discussed refugee issues and ways to enhance cooperation in the humanitarian field, alongside supporting efforts toward stability and recovery.
